- I'm an economics graduate living by the sea in Scotland. I work in waste management so spend most of my day in a portakabin on a landfill site. As a consequence of this I am very environmentally conscious so am trying to be as eco friendly as I can. I like to be creative in my spare time so I write, read, knit and learn new things. I'm in the process of writing the first draft of my novel just now, and I'm hoping to use this blog as a means of charting my progress, keeping me motivated and allowing me to interact with other writers. I also have a serious list obsession and have created a list of things I want to do in my lifetime so my posts will also include updates on this so that I can chart my progress. I also post occasionally about other things - days out, eco issues, vintage/retro homestyle, books I've enjoyed, and other random things that catch my interest.
